The contractors building the Trim Trail in Cheam Rec, appear to be working at a snails pace.
Sutton Council was promised they would only take 10 days to do the work. They are now on day 11 and have still only put in 4 items of kit. Officers from Sutton Council are now chasing the contractors to get the work done.
The Council have mad it clear work must be finished by Friday 21st July, in time for the school holidays.
The lovely new path in Cheam Rec is up and running. It was paid for by Optivo as part of the Section 106 agreement, from the building of Cheyham Park, in Mickleham Gardens.
The aim of the path is to make more of Cheam Park, accessible to visitors to the park, both young and old, abled and disabled. It has certainly done that!
